We work primarily in After Effects, but use a good amount of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Premiere, and others.
Kalika Kharkar Sharma is an NYC motion graphics designer, animator and visual effects artist, with over 15 years of professional experience and 10 years of teaching experience. Simona Prives is a graphic designer and mixed-media artist, and co-teaches the Graphic Design for Animation course, scheduled for Spring. She currently teaches at Parson's, City College and NYU. Tara Clune is an NYC motion graphics artist and animator, with a CS degree from Columbia University. In addition to freelancing, Tara teaches Cinema 4D and Film Studies to high school students in New York and Westchester Counties. Largely self-taught, she got her start taking Kalika's NYU After Effects classes a few years ago and never left. Check out her work on Vimeo. We're pleased to have Tara join us for the Spring semester, when she'll be teaching C4D Workshop.
Anyone with an intermediate to advanced understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, (and for Graphic Design for Animators and Motion Graphics Intensive, After Effects) and at least some professional experience using these software programs.
